I am quite honestly thinking about taking "blogspot" out of the loop here and going from g+ right to the DeviantArt content.

I mean, I do not know if anyone is really coming here to get there after-the-fact when the g+ link would be too far down the list to be practical, you know?

I will say that I am surprised/amused/intrigued by some of the readers I have started to pick up. Stats seem to indicate that I may have somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 "regular" readers. That seems kinda freaky. I mean, some of you comment and whatnot, so 1) thank you for that 2) I kinda get to know who you are what is reading. So, I really am encouraged and a little intimidated.

I kind of like the number twenty-three

p23: Yes, this goes right there along with number twenty-two, picking up right where they were. I confess, they were one ‘page’ until I looked at the word count and went ‘oops.’ In other words, I must admit, this one does not stand on its own as well as most others. That is fine, though, as at this point, if you have not been following along and are looking at #23 first, I make no apologies.
So, the mystery deepens. This is called A Fox Tale, after all.

Part twenty-one! Now my story can drink in the US

So, Sunday morning, Chole/DG reflects on what happened when she got home Saturday night. You get to learn (finally) why she does not like being in a closed room. But this will carry over into twenty-two a bit as well, as you will see.

Here is Friday Fiction # Eighteen

Notice how I did not try to be clever or witty with the heading there? Yeah. Maybe next week.

So, I like to usually like to blurb just a little about whatever you are about to read, if you are about to read.

This is no different.

The next few really go together - the first day off. No school today. It is Saturday and it looks like Chole is just going to have a day at home with her mom. Yeah.... when have you ever found these things to go as planned.

So, yeah, this is me again, doing that thing that we should not do and say "not much is going on here" but well, not a lot is going on, but you get more interaction between Chole and her mom and see them in a different light. And this one sets up some important points for later installments. So, it is not a 'throwaway' but it is not a nail-biter either.

Sweet Sixteen #FridayFiction

p16: This one takes a little bit of a different tone, in parts. We get to know Chole in a way we have only glimpsed before. We can see her passion and her insecurities and that fine line between confidence and uncertainty. When Chole puts her heart into something, she puts it in so deeply there is nothing left on the outside. I wonder how this may translate to other passions she has yet to experience. Yes, this is some foreshadowing - so pay attention when Chole shows confidence and abandon and what that may mean under the surface.

This one picks up immediately where # fifteen left off. As in, when I was wondering what Chole was going to do between History and the homecoming game, I followed her into the band hall and presto, all this. I had to break it up into two posts.

Those of you following along week after week, thank you so much. Those of you letting me know you are following, I really appreciate all the comments. I would like to think that I do not need validation, but I do. Being homeschooled and rather reclusive, this - from you all - is all I get.
